We go here a lot when we come to Fenwick. You Have have to pay to park, but it is so worth it. Seems less crowded and there is a bathroom.
This was a very nice beach to take our dog. There was plenty of room for us to play without bothering anyone else. I did not like the fact that I had to take my dog poop with me, as it is a "carry out" park. Also I found it very difficult to find. I'm pretty sure I drove past it 5 times before I really noticed it.
One of our favorite drive on surf beaches! Access to the restrooms and parking lot is great when you have friends who dont have a permit
This park is kept very clean. and there is easy access from the parking area. It even has showers, lifeguards and well kept rest rooms.
One of my favorite beaches. Not really "crowded" on any given summer day. The waves here are a little more intense as you aren't blocked from the wind, so not a great beach for young kids. Try the bay side for kids. This spot does have great boogie boarding. Watch out for rip currents. Check out the shops nearby. Fenwick is the last stop for tax free shopping before you gut Ocean City heading south.
The Fenwick Island State Park at 36840 Coastal Highway is an outstanding park and we live to go there whenever we can.
